"Oh how I love me!"

Being in the fitness industry for the past 6 years has had many highs, lows and aha moments. On one hand it is incredible to see so many like minded, healthy and fit trainers doing life-changing work in countless lives. However; there is also a whole area of body image, pressure, and opinion around weight, size, obesity, etc. I personally became very difficult on myself, seeing myself through perfectionist lenses. Thinking that in order for me to be the best trainer, I had to be in the best shape. Constantly weighing myself and believing that the number on the scale defined me. Friends, it DOES NOT define you. Being healthy looks completely different for every single person. We must stay present in our lives. We must pay attention to our thoughts and how we speak to or about ourselves. Be aware of the amount of time you are spending on social media, the television shows you are watching as they can contribute to your feelings and emotions. Sometimes a detox is needed to clear your head and start fresh. If you are constantly comparing yourself to others, your joy will be stolen. Get your groove back! Love yourself wholly, the stretch marks, cellulite, "muffin top", blemishes. All of you!! You are uniquely and wonderfully made. Just as you are. You are enough! xo, Andrea
